KELLEY -The 3 Easiest Ways to Pack a lot of Food into a Small Space

Everyone knows the struggle of packing for a camping or backpacking trip. When it comes to food packing, the most important piece of advice I can give you is this: Don’t risk not bringing enough food just to save space.

When you’re planning your next trip, consider these things before risking not eating enough:

  • Pack foods over 100 calories each. Some great examples? Nuts and dried meats.
  • Dehydrated and powder meals can go a long way. Anything “just add water” will pack easily and will fill small spaces. Plus, they don’t add much extra weight to your food supply.
  • Prioritize your items. Pack according to what you may need quickly or pack according to what you would eat first (i.e. breakfast on top, dinner on bottom.)

Once you’ve mastered packing, it’s time to start prepping your campsite meals If you’re still looking to add some cooking tools to your camping list, check out our store. Our members know what’s up.
